Donald joined the MDU Legal team in 2019. He is an attorney and academic admitted to practice law in the Republic of Panama, with previous experience in judicial public service.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama with high academic honors (Cum Laude – 4to. Place of honor). Afterwards, he did a master’s degree in International Law specializing in International Private Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain.
As expert in Panamanian Law, he counsels local and foreign clients, including natural persons and local and multinational companies. Currently, he counsels and represents clients in the areas of civil law; commercial law, corporate law, consumer law, international law, restructuring, insolvencies, local and cross-border bankruptcies; asset recovery and judicial and/or administrative litigations.
In addition, he was an international law professor ad-hoc, he published academic articles in important Panamanian newspapers, he is a member of INSOL INTERNATIONAL and participates as member and legal counselor of renowned nonprofit associations dedicated to civil and philanthropic activities, such as Lions Club International.
